Can anyone remember: "Why Don't You Just Switch Off Your Television Set And Go Out And Do Something Less Boring Instead?"
The only problem is I spend far too much time on this site now. can anyone help? wink

That program always seems like a contradiction to me, they want you to go out and do stuff but first you have to sit there and watch the tv for an hour.

I also remember the white dot campaign, I don't have a tv ( He insists on being called a crossdresser) and have avoided the telly and don't have a clue what " ? " did in Eastenders etc. I often laugh at people who cannot understand that its all pretend!
In these "oh so true to life" soaps, How come they don't "watch" TV ?

lol can remember why dont you, but for the life of me i cant remember the names of the banana splits!
oh, and there was apparently an idea to write a soap purely for people in soaps to watch, how weird is that?!

Yep I remember it too. One of the presenters was Susan Tully later to be Michell in eastenders. Wasn't there a catchphrase some thing like watchout there's a Doris about? Or am I totally loseing it? :shock:

sorry to change the tone slightly but how many of you wereTiswas fans? there was always a huge Swop Shop V Tiswas debate when i was growing up... personally give me the phantom Flan Flinger everytime.
Oh and di TISWAS stand for Today is Saturday Watch and See???

hey sheddy remember trials riding i still compete most weekends and its the most fun you can have with your clothes on and i am pushing towards 45

It's something I never had the balence for hence I went with motorcross but your right if hadn't have had a big accedent in my teens I'd still be riding them now smile
