Forum advertising

Now not to get on my high horse (mummy took the rocking bits off in case I hurt myself), but ......
If I want to check on the ad's I would like to visit them at my own leisure mad

It seems to me at this moment in time, there is a lot of advertising for ....
I/We am/are a xxxxxx, looking for xxxxxxx going on in the forums recently.
I come here to relax & catch up on the recent gossip with folk I know & don't know, answer pointless posts & generally get engrossed in the SH 'WAY', away from the tediousness of real life.
Maybe I am wrong & this is an accepted way of doing things in the forum now - if so I will shut up & go back into my box.
If not then may I suggest to you all to create an ad & just say hello upon here, that way if folk are interested in what they read, they will most certainly visit your ad.

Possibly..........
davej part of a couple looking for other couples, both in our mid forties, polite , clean and friendly. Both straight and both smokers. We enjoy getting to know folk first on a slowly slowly basis with perhaps a social drink as a first meet and progressing on from there........................

People are often encouraged to 'say a bit about themselves' as part of their introduction. They usually include summat like this when they do so. Seems OK in an introductory post but it should stop there and go in an Ad after that as you say.
Mr and Mrs TE (no not Tee Hee!). He 6' 6" - she 4' 6" - little conversation 'cos it's rude to shout - both non-smokers last time I checked - would like to meet.
