I seem to have messed up some of my signature stuff and can't sort it out redface surprisedops:
Can someone direct me to some info (which must be here somewhere) so that I can sort out my sig.

Click on 'quote' on this post and copy and paste these new URL's into your signature and it will work fine.

Thanks - almost OK apart from "quote" still showing but thats not a prob. Is there a Help Page here for this sort of query?

Ok for the purposes of this I am going to swap markings for { and } otherwise it can't be easily explained.
When you start a quote by somebody it looks like {quote="Louise"} With text here in between but to close the quote you have to have a {/quote}at the end.
So if you want to quote three lines seperately and type in between each quote you would need...
{quote="Louise"} I said this. {/quote}
You can type additional stuff here.
{quote="Louise"} I said that. {/quote}
Then say what you like here.
{quote="Louise"} Hello hello. {/quote}
Then add a bit after.

You just have to make sure you open and close what you want to quote.

You missed off the ending (/quote) if it was there, then "fembernie"'s quote would have worked. Its easy really

Fembernie I don't think there is a help page for this but if you go back into your sig and delete the word that's tagged onto your seconr URL it will work.

TBH if you're going to quote multiple people from a thread I find it easier to open 2 SH windows.
Have one with a new reply and then in the other window, find the 1st post you want to quote. press the quote button and copy the quote.
Then past it into the window and then add each quote 1 at a time.

Just make sure each start bracket contains that persons member name.

You can edite the name between the " " marks i.e. "Louise" could be replaced with "Lou"

Or you could try this (it may be a bit long winded for some, but it works....)
Open Word pad, and press the quote button. Cut the quote (or part there of) and paste it to Word pad....then go to the next post and do the same. Arrange it the way you want and the cut and paste in a reply.....lol
