Hi to all concerned (or indeed bothered to read this lol)
I opened my in-box today to find an email from a couple who I emailed from this site as I was going up north in two weeks to work. The email said we have had 600 replies most of them from weirdos and timewasters "we have deleted our ad and gone to a pay site"
What they failed to notice was I sent them 3 pics all of me in various places so I was totally genuine, and very glad to say have had 6 meets with couples from this site all of which have been repeat performances.
What makes me mad is couples who are up their own arses and cant be bothered to read their mail but send out a block email saying "Free Sites are Crap" and promoting this threory in newsgroups.
I spoke with a couple who I met last week about Pay Sites as I refuse to use them and they said the level of timewasters is just the same so they vouch for SH as do I.
For all you couples out there please think about your ads, and most importantly think about the amount of replies you are going to get there are idoits out there granted but if your e-addy is public knowledge what do you expect. If you cant be bothered to read your replies dont advertise.
There are plenty of genuine guys on here me being one with users on this site who can substaniate that.
GIVE US A BREAK, this is meant to be about fun isn't it !!!!!

I can imagine it being difficult for you as a single guy on here in the respect of the sheer volume of singles to couples and single fems,but i also know quite a few single guys on here who have no problems getting meets,so it definately depends on the individual.
Of course it doesnt help with the amount of guys who dont bother to read and just ad themselves to messy or send you annoying pm's for example i recieved this this morning.........
It was only yesterday that Mark very kindly added a link to our ad on our pic page so this guy had no excuse not to read it

Its just a scam....there are a few in the ads section....thing is by time you get this reply you don't actually know which of the ads it was from. Just hit delete button.....as guys answering ads we have to realise that we only get lucky every now and again.....and that alot of people are simply after our address.

Dean stop it right now!!! You will be confusing all those young, fit, handsome, VWE/VVWE/VVVWE men out there who believe that we swingers will drop to our knees and beg for their attention. TUT! We are not just after your email addresses

It's a fact of life on here.......as is people not responding, people replying without reading ads properly and so on.....as is the bad press single males seem to get.
Having said that by default it would also tend to suggest there are more genuine males around too (and I hope those other groups appreciate that side of the equation), which for single males makes it harder once again.
No way round it really, your choices are give up....or put up......anyhow I find I can work out who is real and who is not......well I've never gone to a meet and not had the other(s) turn up.

if you take the time to read the add properly, reply properly and be honest, you get replies.
I have not been a member that long, have been a member longer on a pay site, but I have a better response from here than i do on the pay site.
If you look on the pay sites with massive member lists, half of them have not even been online for over 6 months.
i wont name the pay site, but it sends me a weekly mail of "new matches", usually the same list it sent the week before, and the week before that as well, and some of the new new matches have not been online for over a month

Yes..and me too!! I've had a similar one previously..it's very clever because it doesn't mention any paysites, so you think it's genuine..but the follow up comes later!! The give away I think is in the message subject, which invariably says something like 're your swingers ad/reply'..I've had these before and was suspect that it made no mention of SH specifically in the message title or text body..so they must be flooding the free sites with these mails

hmm i'm a member of a so called really good paysite, i had more luck using faceparty in reality.
