I don't profess to be a leading voice in wine but I have a favorite tipple (or two). They are all from the Hardy Stamp range and its taken me ages of trying (well I had to didn't I) to find wine that I love to drink. They are smooth and easy to drink.

My brother loves French wine, but to me it tastes like vinegar. A drink has to be easily drunk for me to appreciate it, and not forced like some of the other bitter tasting wine.
What are your thoughts, French or other country vinegar tasting wine or smooth Australian wine?
What is your favourite bottle? I still need to reasearch so need to know my reasearch material. Sounds a good excuse anyway lol.

Hi dave,
I have found that the red's from Chile are actually very good, and are a good price. Can't remember the name of it, but Tesco had one in its finest range
Cheers,
Luke
Cant vouch for other stores, but tesco staff are usually well versed in the wine range and many are tempted to try at home to say if good/bad? if you ask in store you may well find the people who fil the departments know quite a lot. best policy is to ask? failing that try your best established winesellers, they usually can tell you more.
too general a question by far to answer, all ill say is some of my favourite wines when i used to drink were french, theres good and bad in all regions mate, there was a time when spanish wine was so cheap it was being used as a cheap alternative to anti freeze in scandinavia
i have it on good terms new zealand wine is gorg and can be bought in tescos
never drink the stuff my self i prefer a good large glass of bicardi and coke....
Well I've learnt something tonight. Where is the nearest tesco. Wonder if that red you're talking about goes well with fish and chips.
