We are going into London tomorrow night for a night out...... Can anyone suggest anywhere to go for a good night.......... Does not have to be sex related!!!! just somewhere nice. , restuarant etc. We have been told to try a Gay bar in London (cant remember the name) aparently its a good night for straights and gays???
Any help would be appreciated
Dave
why not try a meal in chinatown, then wander through soho, and see if anything catches the eye?

Just had a look on your profile and you far from ugly..................................woweeeeee
Hi
I live very close to the South Bank and there's loads of bars and restaurants round there - plus you are by the river and have the London Eye, the Oxo Tower and its a nice walk along to the Globe Theatre and then to Tower Bridge - if you want to walk that is! (not far) where there are loads more bars etc on the way. On a nice evening its a lovely pub crawl........I mean walk rolleyes
Gabriels Wharf is on the South Bank - theres a good couple of places there.
Archduke Charles Wine Bar - on Concert Hall Approach (near London Eye) is also very nice and has good food.
I love a restaurant called Ev - which is just behind Southwark Tube station (jubilee line), but they also have another restaurant just near the Globe Theatre which is called Tas - great food and brillant value. Ev is lovely as its off the main road and they have made it all mediteranian looking outside. Its well worth going there - plus they have a really nice bar area too. Its built under some railway arches and the inside decor is great.
You also have covent garden - good for bars, foos and of course outside entertainment.
Thats all I can think of just now confused
Have fun whatever you do
biggrin
Just a little addition to Fembernie's post...
Around the front of the Royal Festival Hall they now have a Wagamama, Giraffe and a few other eateries, so you can eat with a view(-ish) of the Thames - and it's walking distance to Soho, Covent Garden, etc. For a more downbeat approach, you could go to the National Film Theatre restaurant, under waterloo Bridge.
In Covent Garden there's Sarastro restaurant along Drury Lane, and while the food isn't the best, the decor of the dining room and toilets is an experience that you have to have once in a lifetime - just don't expect the food to be great! If necessary, nip in for a drink and some nibbles if the food doesn't seem appetising (I think it's Hungarian food, but not necessarily prepared brilliantly)
If you want a little sexual entertainment, there's always the cinema next to Ann Summers in Brewer street. Expect smut! lol
1. Waterloo sunset, or
2. Thames River Cruises
+Few bottles of wine and some wicked/exotic take away
