From chat to play

Can anyone help us out here please....
We've met up with a really nice couple, been for a drink and chatted on msn quite a bit. we've arranged to meet again soon, (we've not swung before) but we're not sure how to take the evening from chatting to playing. Any sensible suggestions welcome please. biggrin

Sorry only kidding.......there aren't any set ways to get things to progress from a social meeting to playing, but I'd just say to play it by ear and most importantly don't feel pressured into doing anything that you don't want to do.....take your time and if you decide that you want to play with the couple that you're meeting, find a way between the two of you to make sure you are both happy with the situation.
As for how to get things going.....I guess that depends on you, and them, and how you like to play things. Some people are confident to dive straight in, where as some like to play a sexy game to get everyone in the mood. Have a chat before hand with the couple to see how they would like things to go, just so that you know what to expect and no one is disappointed.
And last but not least.....have a bloody good time :thumbup:

Excellent question, one which I am bloody useless at.
I just wait for someone else to make the first move which can make the situation strained or reduce the time you have for fun rolleyes

Once when I was invited round to their place by a rather nervous couple, after a while of just sitting around, we put on a Tamla-Motown greatest hits CD and agreed that if we weren't naked by the time "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" came on, I would go home.

Go to a cracking couples place enjoyy a little wine enjoy a little food some chat and after 6 hours!!! My mrs gets up says ok are we gonna play then :shock:

Hi guys
It's always a tricky one this. A board game is a good starter, we did this on our first meet and it really helped quell the nerves and the awkwardness..the fun kinda happens naturally. hump

You need build up to make it sexy, but if it's too long then everyone will start wondering whether you're there for the coffee! rolleyes

I always find it helps if you sit next to each others partners quite soon on, then a touch here and glance there helps the whole flirty bit progress.

Always a hard one to kick off with..
Advice will indeed vary.. If everyone is happy it will sort of happen.. It has for may so far after all.. But if your all new and very nervous its gonna take a bit of a kick start agreed..
Games are for some the best way forward.. can all be so simple from spin the bottle (truth or dare) To board games as said.
Sometimes when one person has left the room we have just joked lets all get naked and see the reaction when said person comes back in.. can be a giggle.
Other times we have used games.. cards dice anything!
If your all sure and all comfortable.. I bet you you find a way when your all together.
Have fun... Thats why your all there xxx

I know this might have been covered before deep in the midst of SH history somewhere but here goes good folk of the Forum.........
Right tonight we are meeting up with a couple, us being swingers this may not seem like a big deal, but to us, who swing very infrequently it is a little bit nerve wracking......
Not in the sense of meeting and having a drink together seeing if there is an attraction and whether we feel the "chemistry is there to lead to hanky panky", as this is the bit we really enjoy, the social side and the anticipation and flirting that accompany the build up to "sealing the deal" for want of a better phrase icon_
We kind of get SLIGHTLY nervous about the transition from being in the pub and having a drink together getting to know one another, to actually getting down to the sexual side of the meet up!! icon_
So, we thought, "why dont we play a game?", now im not talking guess who, scrabble or battleships here, im talking about sexually orientated games, and we were wondering "does anybody else do this type of thing or as adults do they see it as a little immature?"
Here's our game, its called imaginatively "Top Trump, Truth Dare or Strip" and this is the basic premise of the game.......
we have a pack of the kids favourite from way back when "top trumps" and each player gets equal amount of cards......
they also get three shot glasses filled with peach schnapps....
we go in turn giving our "top trump figure" and the one who gets the best or highest gets to ask the lowest figure player whether they want truth,dare or strip!!
if they choose truth or dare they have to drink one shot of their 3 drinks then tell the truth about the question or do a dare.
When all the 3 shots are gone and they then lose during a round they HAVE to strip an item of clothing!!!
Sounds really corny but i think it will be really fun and loosen the atmosphere and any nerves about the transition between chatting an flirting and getting to the sexual stuff!!
So over to you guys, do any of you play games like this during meet ups or do u think its either unnecessary or lame?? Tell the truth we dare you, or you might have to strip icon_

As has been said just take it easy and go with the flow, dont rush anything, dont do anything you dont want too.
Board games are great especialy if you change partners, visiting wife with resident hubbie and vice versa, we find Anne Summers "fantcy for lovers" is a good one as it can be played very sexy or very calm, its up to you.
A few drinks help, but dont get p----- thats a definate NO NO, if you do all that you should have agreat time, hell just meet the couple and enjoy yourselves.

If they don't make a move on me and the signs are there that they are interested then I just grab 'em and drag 'em upstairs.
No signs? Why not collar one of them in the kitchen and just have a quick word - are you interested in playing? and if yes, then go back and seduce the other 2?

We are meeting the said couple on 29th for drinks so we may well try out some games, we have about 20 different Top Trump games to choose from!!! amongst other games. We will keep you all posted on how we get on. passionkiss
