Just watched the 'Battle of Britain' again yesterday for the umpteenth time. Had a thought about other films as well. Why does some silly bugger always leave a fuel tanker where they know its going to be bombed/rammed/shot at/generally blown up??????

The same reason that someone always used to pile empty cardboard boxes in the street
and the same reason Americans leave high explosives in any vehicle that might possibly be involved in a car chase of any sort lol
And for the same reason the "emergency lights" in submarines etc always work after the "ordinary" one knacker. Why not make the "ordinary" ones out of the same stuff as the "emergency" ones?

And why do bad guys always forget how many bullets are in a gun?
Surely they teach that on day one of evil crimelord college! :lol2:
For the same reason that in old western films, the indians would come over the hill one by one in order to provide target practice for the white men. Hadn't they heard of safety in numbers?
