not forgetting the exquisite hand painted finish :giggle:
Stopped playing Warhammer etc some years ago but still have the carefully handpainted figures. I think this actually became part of a seduction for me in the "come up up and see my lead soldiers" sort of way. No kidding, the woman I showed them to was captivated by the detail and my artistic skill. So I geeked her into bed.
Worst thing was trying to buy a book in a crowded bookshop. I asked the spotty youth behind the counter for the title and he bellowed across the shop
"This man wants that copy of Trollslayer" redface Strangely more embarressing than my first purchase of condoms. lol

i love scifi, fantasy, am obsessed with vampires and warewolves, i collect ornaments of death from the terry pratchett books along with other of his figurines
i pack my shopping in a certain order and put it on the counter in the same order, all tins must face forward and be in rows of the same thing,

Is a collector of Smurfs and all things Smurfy considered a geek (or just really sad)??! If so, I hold up my hand and proclaim myself as such - I have about 4500 smurfs, smurf curtains, smurf lampshades and other bits and bobs. I've also eaten "Smurf" flavour ice-cream and eaten at a "Smurf" bakery on Kos. I believe I can claim full geekdom redface lol and yet I don't think I've gone without a good shagging when I've needed one, and if the guy has a pointy red hat, a beard and is blue all over - be still my beating heart!!!
