I think it has to do with how much emphasis is put on the word "structure", as this can me far more than just buildings these days. Identification of a structure is a subjective task, because it depends on the criteria assumed for the recognition of its parts and their relations.
A country's road network is technically a structure ...as is Jordan's bra (now that has to be a huge structure!)
By rights the human race ias it exisits today is man/woman made structure which covers the globe

This has got to be new-born babies - their brain is HUGE compared to their body volume
