according to this site we have one moon

If you look at the characteristics of a moon you will find that there is more than one moon, as long as a natural object orbits round a planet and round the sun it can be classified as a moon. So keep guessing numbers between one and ten you will get the answer.

because some scientists have thought it to be one, although now believe it to be too small......... biggrin
I'm just going to tell you the answer.
The Earth has at least 7 moons, these are;
Luna
Cruithne- discovered in 1997
PH5- discovered in 2000
WN10- discovered in 2000
AA29- discovered in 2002
YN107- discovered in 2003
GU9- discovered in 2004
According to the characteristics of what makes something a moon the earth has at least 7 moons, some scientists do however argue against this but more believe the theory is correct.
Next question.
How did Catherin the Great die?

According to NASA these are Asteroids
The Myths:
1. Catherine was crushed to death by a horse whilst attempting to have sex with it (usually the collapse of a harness/lifting mechanism is blamed).
2. Catherine died on the toilet.
The Truth:
Catherine died in bed of illness; there were no equines involved and a Catherine/horse nexus was never attempted.

Yes, they are asteroids, asteroids that orbit they earth and the sun in such a way that many scientists think they should in fact be classified as moons. They have all the characteristics of a moon, they look like some of the moons other planets have, they are moons. End of.

Yes your right. Catherine the Great died, she did however suffer a stroke whilst on the toilet, she everntually died from this stroke in bed.

Yes Drew, whatever you say Drew. Oh..and it's
Largest City by Land Area - Mount Isa
From:
Located 1829 km from Brisbane, 883 km from Townsville and 356 m above sea-level, Mount Isa proudly claims to be the largest city in the world; a fact born out by its accreditation in the Guinness Book of Records. The argument is that the city extends for 40 977 sq. km, and that the road from Mount Isa to Camooweal, a distance of 189 km, is the longest city road in the world
