Drew, i'm sure that no-one really wants you shot, or wants you to leave the site. I am also sure that you're a nice guy who has a lot to contribute to S.H.
However, you do have an uncanny knack of being able to rub people up the wrong way. IMHO- your foot stamping, toys-out-of-the-pram " this is my thread, now answer the question" posts annoy people. I am not making those remarks because of your age, but because of your attitude. Moreover,(again IMHO) when someone comments on your posts in a derogatory manner, you then try to turn it on it's head and make out that people are picking on you.
Perhaps you should re-read through some of the posts in which you seem to have alienated people, I'm sure that we could all learn something from doing so.
The above is my attempt at being helpful. It is not meant to be offensive- I have not used sarcasm, called you names or been remotely nasty. Take it, leave it, snipe at me, swear at me, print it and use it as loo roll, put it in your pipe & smoke it- I really don't care.

I've always felt the Mods are quite fair and even if a thread gets locked, as long as it was well meant and not malicious I don't see any retribution.
Having said that I haven't ever actually had a thread locked :smug:
But then that could be just a ploy to keep me out of the locked thread club :cry:

I’ve always thought of the Café as place where pretty much anything within the AUP, can and should be discussed. Restricting topics to Sex in general and Swinging in particular would get very stale and boring very soon.
I would welcome much more “off topic” chat rather than less, but that’s just a personal opinion and I realise others may well feel differently.

there has to be some sort of "control" (for want of a better term)
and let's not forget the good old "section 69 - catch all" entry in the AUP/Conditions of use/somewhere else that can't remember where; that the site/mods/admin/owners/etc have the right/ability to "edit/delete anything they see fit to edit/change/delete" - or words to that effect.

I can see why some threads get locked pretty much instantly as they are obviously going nowhere but sometimes I sit and think why when a thread that will stimulate some interesting discussions and generate some life into the old place is locked...
