How the hell do I manage to get into here. I have registered and have a registration key but still cant seem to get it to work. hmmmmm

What you really mean is that you've registered it and now you have an activation key. Have you activated it? All you need to do is copy the message from the e-mail you were sent into the chat window and hit return.

I'm using the reg given to me for the photoad bit, is this right? Will i have to type in the /register email password everytime?

No. You need to register for the chat seperately, you get another activation key from starchat.

The chatroom and the photo-ads are two totally separate entities. Registering for one has nothing to do with registering for the other.
You only need to register and activate your user name for the chatroom once. When you've done it you can get into the chatroom by typing your nickname and password in the boxes on the chatroom entry page.

ok, i did try the /register email password bit but didnt receive a new email. Will try again, thanks for the help though biggrin

Nope, no joy yet. I go to chat then type in a Nick name and password, then on the chat screen type /register email password and I never get a new reg key? Sorry for being so dumb

That's probably cos it's not /register email password, try reading the instruction page again, the correct command is:
/ns register email password
you need the ns bit so that it knows you're talking to the nick server.

Good for Nutz... biggrin .....but you do need to make it easier to get to the chat room.....i apprieciate there are a few idiots out there that like to abuse the room but it is still difficult to get into.....

How much easier can it be to get into a registered chatroom?
Step 1
You chose a nickname and register it with Starchat.
Step 2
They send you an e-mail with an activation code in it.
Step 3
You activate the nickname using the code number
Step 4
You join the chatroom
