There are three 12 y/o girls having a flour fight in my kitchen. I'm going to glug this wine faster than you would believe, and then gently persuade them that calming down would be a good idea.......

Bugger, everyone's gone now! sad

Had major eye surgery on my good eye yesterday, so I am peering at the screen through a magnifying glass pressed to my bad eye (this is REALLY sounding attractive isn't it?). Had a very unpleasant conversation (well, a few grunts) with my eldest son by telephone, thanks to the malign influence of his mother.
So, here I am, peering mole-like at the screen unable to do much for myself (and I HATE being helpless).
Planning to drive down to Wiltshire and back on Monday - and Sappho is having kittens about it.
Sorry to be a bit mis - but does anyone fany topping up my glass of red?

Regarding the journey on Monday, I promised Sappho that I would stick REALLY close to the car in front. Oddly enough, this didn't seem to make her any more comfortable! dunno

Hadn't thought of the train! We don't have a station here - but I could probably get to one, and then get a taxi the other end.
