I realise that ads can only be "refreshed" once every 4 hours. I last updated my ad yesterday 8 Jan, so why when I try to update it today, 9 Jan at 1600, it doesn't appear on the ad list?

24 hours after I last updated my ad, I finally managed to refresh it - it says so on the actual ad "updated on 09/01/06 2020"- BUT, it doesn't appear at the top of this ad list!. I am going bananas with this site!

My Mailbox is still broken 
I cant get the extra emotes unless I pay :dunno: (apparently my account hasn't been upgraded )
and the timeout is far far too short, no really it is. as a lysdexic person, I usually have to do most of my posts in a word processor, by the time I get back to the thread, I’ve been locked out :roll:
why do we need a lockout feature anyway? so some ppl like to lurk :dunno: so let them, inactivity does not denote lack of interest, just that some ppl are busier than others.

and while we are at it, I really cannot understand why you have not taken the new browser onboard, its brilliant

i can fix that option for you if you want pete a press of a button will keep you active untill you unclick the button ,i know my login is easier but i can make it so you only need to login once unless you press the get the fuck off my screen quick button

pete ive made this better than ever now it never logs out if you press the on button, on the top options button ,no need to turn it off it will then auto check mail notify and keep you logged in plus it will keep you up to date with how many users are in the forums

oh i forgot its now uses encryption for all saved passwords that it saves in the registery so if some bright spark can read the registery now all he will see is a load of blks and they wont be able to decrypt it

In the new chatroom, I'm stuck in one of those little spare rooms and can't get out! :shock:

It says I'm disconected now which is confusing cos the room hasn't reset when i go back into it.

OK all you IT buffs = I am having the same problem.
Connected 5 times and I gat the same answer. Refreshed and the same problem. Cleared my Cookies with no result.
Who are the brains that can help ??
I have, previously had no problems getting into chat so where lies the problem ???

I'm pleased that Pete is helping you to refine your browser, when its finished I'd be interested in looking at the source and then maybe making it available from the SH server if its all ok.

yes steve thats fine ive decied to scrap the friends list thou its to much hard work and it may cause problems, it still has the amount or users online this remains updated even if your idle. Im just thinking of any more options i may add before i release the final version to yourself, i made it safer than any normal windows login now with the encryption levels ive used to protect your loading password and swinging heaven password id say unbeatable, ideal for people who want top security the other thing i may add if i can is to make it auto delete your cookie from your p.c for total security as its not needed after you leave the page plus people can trace your browsing so that maybe a good point for people . If you would like to see any options that might be of intrest let me know so i can have a crack at trying it

this might have been asked before or it might just be me being thick and not setting my screen right, but when I click on a users name with the intention of sending them a pm, the option to 'contact' is partially hidden behind the user menu so my question is
am I being a numpty and need to adjust a screen setting somewhere, or do I just count to 10 and shout 'coming ready or not' and go looking for the option, cos if thats the case its a shit game as its always hiding behind the user menu ...it really has no imagination.
