Newly discovered glitch... the 'report this advert' oprion in the photo ads gives an SQL error message if you include quotation marks in your report

In the chatroom you now have the ability to view other people's pics and ads, but there are 2 problems I can see so far
1) If you've been in the chatroom for more than about 15 minutes (not sure of exact timing on this), you get logged off the rest of the site, so if you try to view someone's ad you get sent to the login page instead of their advert. Surely if you're chatting in the chatroom you should still be classed as being logged into the site :confused:
2) The member photos don't come up at all. I have a photo on my profile which should by rights come up if someone clicks on my member pic in the room. All that happens is the box says "showing pic 1 of 0"
The problem here is using two very different systems, your chat room is in IRC and the forums are coded on the server as php. To integrate the two you will either have to have one kick ass C programmer to recode IRC to integrate with your database, or the more easier method of creating a bot that can talk to the forum db. After seeing all these bugs so far on the site, i am somewhat doubtfull of the programmers ability :P no offence ment though, love the site, and think SH rocks. Just from a programmers point of view a lot of the errors being shown are "school boy" errors....

try changing the extention of your image from .jpeg to .jpg then re-upload. PM me if you still have a problem and i will try and give you more detailed information

The adverts are always displayed in the order of the last added or edited.

Images posted within mails don't seem to display (or maybe they're not delivered). When we read mails in My Mailbox, we don't see images that have been posted to us just the tags and the filename like this:
Also, when is the search option going to reappear in Photo Ads? This has to be the biggest missing feature at the moment & searching for profiles isn't even close to the same functionality ..

If this has been asked before I apologise but I cannot be assed to wade through 600 pages of moans and groans it makes me depressed.
When are we going to be able to seach the adverts again???? Not the pointless profiles which seem to have appeared frorm nowhere and actually tell you nothing and which incidentally I never wanted in the first place!!!
P.S. Even with the profile why does it say they have not got pics when they have????

Good work on the mailbox controls guys . I now have so many options to delete stuff , I can almost delete everything withour reading it ! thanks for the quick response to our request .

That way anyone who is NOT actively swinging can post a message telling No Pms or Unsolicited Pms will be ignored. This could cut down the unsolicited pms people are getting? (seeing most of the wanna shag brigade are not even bothering to come onto the forum - they only search profiles for prospective Marks)

This is a little thing really but it is niggling at me.....
When I look at who is online at the bottom of the Index Page to the Forums the colours aren't bold enough to see if a Moderator or an Admin person is online....can we have bold colours please?
I know it's little but if I find a tosser that is posting something against the AUP I generally PM a Mod if there is one online and at the moment its really hard to see if there IS a Mod online.....

I've added the admin/mod bold requirement and the chatroom feedback to the list.
The chatroom is being worked on at the moment to try to sort out those bugs and a few more we have found.

Personally I dont want to be notified of every thread I post on having a new post..... It has never to my knowledge been turned on by default. You have always had to tick the box to get a notification.

Cool - now we see the pics in our mailbox, so I guess that is parsing all those tags properly now. Thanks for the good work - I guess we will have to be patient with the advert searching, but the rest of the site is really coming together. It's certainly great not to have all those pages failing to load.

Personally I would rather have it the way it is and that you have to tick to receive reply notifications.
Anyone who posts a lot would very quickly find themselves in undated with notifications and some email accounts such as etc, can very soon become overloaded.
IMO the person wanting to view the replies should make the effort to tick the box. I don't want to tick the box to avoid all the junk in my mail

Steve has just mentioned to me that he has found that if he want notifications to a thread he has to tick the box everytime he posts a reply to a thread (This is while he is composing his reply btw) There used to be a "Watch this topic" box that you could tick and it would send you notifications of more posts once they had been made. Would it be possible to have this option again??

Before, there was a global forum setting that let you choose to recieve a notification or not. I'm still getting the notifications, as I had this turned on pre-facelift, so I expect the functionality is still there and it's just the button that is missing.
Following on from that, I have another glitch to report, I'm unable to log in from any pages othe than the lists of topics - if I go to an particular thread (by following a link in a notifcation mail for example), nothing happens when I enter my name/password.
Following the convention of reporting missing functionality that the old site had in the glitch thread, it seems we no longer have the ability to use .gif files for avatars (I'm reluctant to investigate as I don't want to lose mine... at least not until after christmas!)
Would the staff find it useful for the members to compile a single, up to date list of glitches/missing functionality issues, and rate their severity?
