Has anyone stopped to think about the technology that is available to most people today at probably what are silly prices.
From our GCC (Global Communications Centre - computer in a small room) I can phone someone on the other side of the world, most likely their voice will be as clear as talking on the phone to my neignhour. I can scribble a drawing and fax it anywhere or I can scan it and send it. I can take a photo and a paper image can be sitting on someones desk in Hong Kong, Washington or Moscow in the space of a couple of minutes. The computing power that we take for granted is phenominal when compared to the 70s when mobile phones were the size of bricks, and sending photos generally meant taking the roll of film to the chemist, waiting for it to be developed and then posting in an envelope to wherever! Were you brave enough to 'risk' any really sexy ones?
