Hows your day been? I went to a wedding wich was good but then it went down when hill somebody showed me how to do selfdefence :silly: and has hurt my arm and and I cant lift anything with my arm or move it in in certain ways uch: . Shortly after when we left the wedding we realized we had left the cammera benind and will probs never see it again. Its another day now
Sorry to hear about the mishaps Nicekat. :therethere: Yesterday for me was a good day: had the place to myself, had a great conversation with a pal who I'd not spoken to for a while, chilled out, made some naughty future plans, watched a film. Today is shaping up to be another good day: the sun is shining so I'm on a laundry mission! I'm enjoying my own company and have the music on... all is right with my little piece of the world!
Thanks Nola for your nice words! Today is shaping up well after a trip to A&E im heading down to my B/Fs to stop for a week as I am off work so am going to enjoy the week.
Yesterday was incredibly boring though watched a good film in the afternoon Today I've just made some gluton-free bread for the first time so can't wait til that's baked and see what it's like. Dinner today will be honeyed chicken with spicy potato skins and I'm doing sultana scones in a mo  Got a friend over later for our 'who can buy the naffest holiday souvenier' competition and I'm confident mine from Sweden is the winner this round :smug: Working tonight - 1st of 4 but it should be a good shift Enjoy your weekend folks

Really makes me quite angry that people who "think" they know how to do self defence, try to teach others. The first thing they should learn is that teaching a complete beginner can't be done in 30secs  It takes years of dedicated training and knowing the ins and outs of safety, to enable anyone to try and teach self defence never mind take control of a potential life threatening situation.
I've had a nice few days. Went to a magazine launch at an art gallery on Friday, had a few bevvies and met some nice people. Last night out with friends I don't see often enough, had a good natter and a giggle. Lost me glasses and found them again in a really silly place! :? :?

Ya right. The fella did do taekwondo yrs ago but still thinks he knows everything.
Go for the bollocks hun, always go for the bollocks
Think youll find that only works with guys Sassy Really? You reckon us women have no nerves in our groin? I can testify - having been accidentally kicked right there - it bloody hurts and would stop me dead every time. Theres a lot of bones wrapped in folds of highly sensitive skin and flesh. We may not be daft enough to dangle our reproductive organs around where anyone can grab them - but we aren't exactly numb.

Especially at a wedding! (my only form of self defense is running.. )
I've only just got up so can't comment yet ( night shifts not lazy cow before you ask ) though a couple of lovely texts have brought a smile to my face
