Good erotic writing?

Hi all.
My wife loves erotic anecdotes/dirty stories. I bought her a copy of Suzanne Portnoy's 'The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker', which she loved.
Could anyone recommend something similar? Ideally, true-life stories (or at least something billed as that ;)) with plenty of context and hard, uncompromising sex scenes.

Well, I don't know if it's quite what you're looking for but Alina Reyes' "Behind Closed Doors" is great fun. Wacky, erotic and quite original.

It doesn't need to be true for me - I love erotic fiction. The Black Lace books are excellent - you'd expect them to be tame because they're relatively mainstream but they are really graphic & cover most kinks.

I also agree that the Black Lace books are very good. Another good one is "Story of O" by Pauline Reage.

Look for the Nancy Friday books. They are full of real people fantasies, and some are quite shocking in their honesty, and debauchery.
My Secret Garden,
Women on Top,
Forbidden Flowers
are the three that spring to mind. Not a novel, but a collection of short fantasies that are easy to dip into. I think there is something in that lot for every bodies taste!

are the three that spring to mind. Not a novel, but a collection of short fantasies that are easy to dip into. I think there is something in that lot for every bodies taste!

I can recommend that particular book!

Has anyone read the magazine "Scarlet".... its a new magazine with Erotic stories... advice and tips.. One of housemates friends brough it round for a giggle (i did read one aloud to the group....funny as)

I bought the sample issue for my wife a few months ago, but it was too fond of kiddy terms like 'boobs'.
She likes it a lot harder than that. smile

Dunno if it's improved, or not...

Actually your very right there.. i'm not sure what age group its aimed at... as you say words like boobs... and some of the "features" werent really to someone in 40s as one would have imagined that they would have experienced most of that.. but nonetheless an interesting flick (as i'm sure your wife did later)

The 'boobies' thing annoys me, too, because I'm a writer professionally, and it's a bit of a spell-breaker.
