Has anyone out there got any good news and would like to share?
Where I work we have a lockable portacabin that store tools that we use for project works. Before Christmas it was broken into and all our tools were stolen. We last week a youth group came to us and offered out of their own funds to replace £300 worth of stolen tools. What a good bunch of kids!!
What a fine thread, good news is so hard to find. Human beings must love despair and misery judging by the content of press tv and internet.
I have really enjoyed the change in the weather over the last week and those first signs of spring.
awww third man thats really nice biggrin
well I woke up alive this morning, which is always a good thing, and im (almost) healthy too!
The kids went back to school this morning wink
My good news is that I have finally mansged to get some work done, after being ill for 5 days, on a rest now, but will go out to work again soon!
More good news, Mikes Mum seems to be well on the mend after a heart op.
More good news, the spring is on its way. Cant wait to get out and about again in the country side and enjoy what nature has to offer us all. I just love the trees in full leaf, with the sun shining down on them, will have to wait a tad longer for that though!
Happy days!
I dont want this thread to die cos I really like good news.
My dog (Dolly the Dog)has finally worked out how to use the spring pole I built for her two weeks ago and is currently swinging on it making terrifying growling/screechy noises to her great delight.
Today I looked in my garden and saw some beautiful purple crocus that were blooming........
it reminded me of how the love I have for my husband shows bright and beautiful despite our current situation.
Does this qualify for good news? In my world it does.

Yum - what flavour did we go for in the end? :evil2: I have my fork lol
Where's my slice.
I have some good news too.
I had a long chat with a bloke I know at my counselling sessions today. He seems to be coming to terms with his life sufficiently well to able to abandon habits which have blighted his life for 30 years.

Oven taken by 8 motor bikes on the A65, all been riden in a great way, not nutters!
Met all the ageing bikers at the tea hut near Kirby L.
(Wrong thread, but cant be bothered to find the bikers one!)

Gail Trimble needs to worry I for one am glad Im safe.
I thought this was a nice piece of news for the news site:
Prince Charles paid a heartfelt tribute to his "darling grandmother" on Tuesday as the country unveiled its national memorial to queen Elizabeth, the queen mother.
reading on I was disappointed to find the Queen sent a look alike.
Standing at the foot of the statue of her husband king George VI, and smiling in the direction of Buckingham Palace, the statue of the last empress of India is surrounded by friezes of moments from her life of 101 years.
Queen Elisabeth II, senior members of the royal family, Prime Minister Gordon Brown and members of the queen mother's staff attended the unveiling in London, which Charles called a "cause for celebration and joyful nostalgia".
