My youngest was watching Blue Peter this afternoon because they had a feature on the new series of Doctor Who.
When they played the Doctor Who theme tune it gave me goosebumps. I guess it's a combination of my childhood experience of the programme, along with the anticipation of the new series.
Is there anything that gives you goosebumps and why do you think it does?
Lots of songs give me goosebumps when I hear them as does someone running their fingernails lightly over my naked body! wink

Now you mention it, the fingernail thing does that to me too. I also get them occassionally if I get a lovely PM from a friend. Maybe I'm just prone to getting them? dunno

Due to the somewhat abnormal wiring of my brain, all sorts of things give my goose bumps - a lot!

Set the video recorder!! lol
Yes! As a child, Saturday night sitting there with "my weekly 1/4 of sweets" waiting to watch it, the theme tune came on and I used to get all scared waiting for the daleks!
Oh happy days! lol
i would always watch it and have already set the record button for saturday. My dad used to work on them and i got to go on set a couple of times and see what it was really like, but even so still loved every minute of it and it never spoilt the illusion.
When it restarted my son just followed in my footsteps and he gets soooooo excited just at the thought of the new series. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
oh many a happy terrifying memory watching Dr. Who from behind the couch
listening to certain songs gives me goosies
Earthy xx
Dr Who? dunno
Never really been a fan myself! bolt
DG runs for cover while the fanatics start to rant... exterminate, exterminate
I get goose bumps when I'm cold! lol
Or when someone touches the skin at the small of my back or my ears! wink
Or when I think about certain things or certain someones... :rascal:
Certain songs make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up... Destiny by Zero 7 is one of them.
Certain songs usually give me goosebumps, different reasons for different ones ;)
Having my back tickled with a key also gives me goosebumps because it feels so nice ;)
If I hear a sad or happy story from someone, I get goosebumps-haven't quite worked out why, any ideas??
