If grass wasn't green what colour would you like it to be?
I quite think purple would look good - it would bring out the green of the plants, make a nice contrast don't you think?

Nah........it just wouldn't look natural. A bit like playing pool or snooker on red or blue baize. Not normal really.

put the mushrooms down polo step away from the mushrooms theres nothing you will like from mushrooms i repeat step away from the mushrooms just say no
It would be red
Of course, it could be said that grass is really red anyway. Because the yellow and blue wavelengths are reflected from the grass and the red absorbed, we are not really seeing the coulour that it is, but the colour that it isn't. If grass absorbs red, then it must be red! confused

Maybe it should be yellow then - or appear yellow - as yellow creates the strongest stimulation of the colour receptors and is therefore the last colour people can distinguish if they are suffering from deminishing sight. This would ensure they complied with the 'KEEP OFF OF THE GRASS' notices.

How you know that grass doesnt look red to everyone else???
Concept of colour could vary person to person.
What someone see's as green could very well be the colour someone else see's as red.
Personall I think I'd like grass to be blue - long lush blue grass to lay in, how fab would that be!!!!!

The glucose chlorophyll in grass is the basis of all life on Earth, including us, so if it was a different colour there would be no life. Now do you want to change it?
Anyhow, I quite like the green in grass, it is a natural colour : i.e. the colour of nature, very restfull and good for the nerves.
What do you mean - green? My grass has always been brown.... well ever since I started doing the gardening lol
Mind you, now I'm tempted to go and spray paint the neighbours lawn pink.... that'll teach the smug bastards evil

If this is the case then I vote we keep it green and grow some more, however I am now concererned that my shortness of breath is in fact not due to my habit of smoking cigerettes, but has more to do with the cows eating the very thing that keeps us alive and that the only reason the government insist on a 40% coverage of space on my fag box is because the cost of covering 40% of all the cows with a similar warning, would be far more costly and time consuming.
