Anyone hoping to enter for this event only have until 11th February to apply.
Anyone need any details about this, ie website, training, the actual event itself, etc, etc, just let me know.
Mal
lol
ooo...are you taking part then Mal?
lp
His training programme has already been discussed
But you have to apply first, then if you get accepted you can take part, but thousands and thousands apply to take part and I think only 30,000 are accepted!
You going to join him LP?? I can arrange a training programme for you as well if you want

>in edit: I wonder if there might be space on the SH Boards for a dedicated *Charity Endeavours* thread?
those who may be organising events, getting sponsorship, or even with SH Munches/Socials etc if there might be a small charitable contribution from a member, it could be placed there...?<

Hang on don't encourage him...........
My part of his training programme involves driving him about 10 miles from home, 3 to 4 times a week and leaving him there! and he has to run home again!
Then I avoid him till he has showered etc!

Foreplay? I don't remember that bit!
Anyway, as I said earlier there are only a few days for you to apply through the ballot to get a place in this years GNR. It's a truly great event and trust me, you'll have a hell of a weekend!! Team Mal did me proud last year and hopefully will again this year.
Not sure if you can do it? Not fit enough? Maybe one day after you've given up smoking? Nah.
This year!! Do it!! You'll have ten months to get yourself fit and cut down/stop smoking. If you've got an excuse why you can't do it, I've got a reason why you should!!
It's a great to have a target, something to aim for and something for your partners, work colleagues and pals to keep on at you to sort yourself out and just do it.
And on top of all that, think of the great sense of achievement you'll have after finishing it, never mind actually doing it! Something to be proud of, something that others who couldn't be bothered, will think 'I'll do it next year' but never do.
I've done it eleven times now and I have no idea when I'll stop competing, it gives me such a buzz to finish it!
Come and join me and 30,000 of my closest friends for a weekend to remember - you'll never regret it!!
Mal

if i dont kill myself first by just trying to breath on the treadmill
