The only idea I can give hun, and it will be T-I-C.
You run in front of him. Now that would be MOTIVATION.
Serious now. Just give him plenty of support.

if you need to motivate yourself then your all ready should be inside pushing you,like someone sitting on your shoulder tipping you on the head and whispering 'come on your fucking loser!! go go go'
If you are going for a competition run,even if its for fun push yourself on and go for 't have to kill yourself get some sponsorship and enjoy how great it feels when you achieve your goals.
start shouting! get up at 4am when its all quiet and go for that 5 mile run to begin ! not 1 in 5 but everyday and each week increase it by a mile.
if you have to get a bike and whip the bugger as he runs. mad

Tyr, I've already done it 11 times before - I know more about that course than Steve Cram!! I've ran more miles than one of my cars did between MOT's! :lol: (just not this year!)

The only motivation I need is that all exercise is bad for you. Your heart is like a battery, and the quicker you use up the beats, the quicker it'll run out wink

Was it last year, if not the year before that a couple of the entrants dropped down brown bread during the event.
Ask yourself how many spectators suffered the same fate?
Just look at how we as a nation won most of our medals at the olympics. That's right sitting on our backsides.(rowing, cycling) or even better, lying down (swimming). If you can't watch and compete in a sport in the same manner, it should be treated with great caution.

Well, I made it!! lol

The weather on Saturday was absolutely appalling, which didn't bode well for race day. Fortunately it all brightened up on Sunday, but just a tad too hot!!
It took me 2 hours 29 minutes, which is my slowest time ever. That's down to the heat, not enough training and getting on a bit! redface

I'd like to thank Team Mal for doing a brilliant job for me over the weekend - feeding me, accommodating me, looking after my bike and making sure all my needs were catered for! I couldn't have done it without you, so thanks again.
I'd also like to say thank you very much for all those who sponsored me. I'm still a bit short of my target, so if you have a few spare coppers, let me know and I'll send you the link to my Justgiving web page.

i couldnt do it and i admire anyone who does.
