I've recently started keeping myself 'neat and tidy' down there, shaved balls and trimmed pubes. Not too short just tidy BUT I've had serious complaints about sex being prickly and uncomfortable once it starts to grow back a little. I've even started using her expensive conditioner on them in the shower.
Is this normal? Apart from going completely bald down there is there a solution??
Once you start you have to keep doing it. The first couple of times I shaved down below my knickers felt like bleeding velcro
I've heard that waxing is easier and doesn't make the hair grow back so stubbly. I haven't tried it coz i'm too chicken shit :scared:
Waxing down below? :eeek: Nooooo! don't even go there
I use the usual creams and stuff but I do believe some people like to pluck it out with tweezers :eeek:  . . . . Don't they Shireen? lol
Using creams does make it grow back softer and after a while it does seem to slow the regrowth, but never on the ocassions you have a last minute meet arranged rolleyes :lol2:

How come the creams always say 'Not for genital use'? It's stopped me from trying them as I'm never sure if they're safe to use or not dunno
i tend to give my pubea good old 'grade 1', do shave my balls from time to time by agree the grow back can be a pain in the balls (OK i know its crap, but its early lol)
Calista is a wax person, always swears that waxing is far better than shaving those sensitive areas, i suppose its each to their own.

I reckon letting the bit at the base of the penis, on top, grow back a bit can enhace the experience.
This is only a hypothesis though and warrants some practical testing!!

Epilady :smug:

Once you buy one it's hard to go back to anything else.
Doesn't Epilady slowly rip the hairs from your body???

Nope... it rips them quickly!
:P
 Still sounds more painful than the old venus razor though

True honey, but then you don't have to epilate every other day, plus I find that for me personally the hairs grown back much softer than if I shave.

Thanks KM biggrin I may be tempted to give it a try in the name of research lol

You are welcome, try the legs first and you might find it helpful to have a cool pack handy to sooth the area. It does get a lot less painful the more you do it.
If you ever need any help with your research just let me know.

Doesn't it give you spots though? lol I've tried one of those in the past - long time ago mind you so they may be better now - and it made me all red and spotty redface
Come on KM, give us the run down, point by point on using one and I may consider it again . . . . but please! spare us the skin ripping, spine shattering, leg curling details about the pain :eeek: :lol2:
Have you got to just dry pluck or can you use something to smooth the skin first? Afterwards? Creams, lotions?
Come on, lets all get bald together ;-)

Well I find I don't get any rash or spots or anything like that, but I do make sure I exfoliate regularly, which stops any ingrown hairs etc.
It's really not that painful, a lot less painful than a tattoo I think anyway. Yes it made my eyes water at first but then more regularly you do it the easier it seems.
Do you remember what it was like when you first plucked your eyebrows? Ouch!! But now I bet you hardly feel a thing.*
Disclamier* If you have been plucking your eyebrows for years and you still wince and jump around the room, perhaps an epilater isn't for you!
I think I'll leave the Epilady well alone  though advice on which creams to use would be of great help
together with female volunteers to 'demonstrate' wink

I just had my teeny weeny really old and faded tattoo recoloured and for some unknown reason it hurt far more than it did when I had it done in my teens. Maybe I've become a wimp in my old age dunno
Either way, you've not convinced me - yet ;-) lol

Yes I had heard that before . . . . . but not about plucking :rascal: :giggle:

I've never been good with words - I'm more of a 'hands-on' practical kinda gal! :rascal:
Maybe I like the pain? whip
you get to have a 2nd opinion on the smoothness wink
Johnson's make a 'hair minimising' body lotion. It does not get rid of hairs but....
when used after shaving, it takes the edge off of the regrowth and makes the hair slightly thinner and softer.

I nominate PL for the demonstrations
