Tenacious D - great song, great video

I can't listen to Maiden when I'm driving - and I have to keep a close eye out when I've got QOTSA "Songs For The Deaf" ( best driving album IMHO ) - if I could I'd tell the feds :kissmyarse: flipa - but I'm spineless

Thought I'd found it then, but its The Buzzcocks track ' Something's Gone Wrong Again' with the line 'Tried to find my sock'
Close - but no cigar confused
(A clue would be appreciated lol )

Unfornately I am guilty m'lord. Had the police been out on the roads then a very instant ban and possibly sentence would have ensued and my crap defence is Marilyn Manson and a few minutes of stupidity.
Morbius took my keys off me for a week at the time and I now I'm a hell of a lot more careful.
And yes the Foo Fighters and QOTSA have similar effects.
I should mention that my 125 mph lapse of concentration was straight past the divisional police HQ, perhaps that's when I used all my luck up ??????

ok more lyrics to guess ...
no one to talk too

Ok, the song would have been number one had the BBC not been on strike. There is a funny TV prog about a bunch of nutty northern kids with the same title as the song. Err, something to do with searching for the golden gusset........ Oh and its your round!
You should get it now!!!
I only ever liked the one album, and it was an early one. Try and name both the song and the album.
So let me in from the cold
Turn my land into gold
Theres a chill wind blowing in my soul
And I think I'm growing old.

At there most depressing on this album too, don't even know why I like it!!

ok more lyrics to guess ...
no one to talk too

'Nowhere to turn too no one here that wants you
stay far away now way beyond normality
no one to talk too, talkin' cannot help you stay far away now
you've stepped beyond reality'
Found these lyrics in an Elegy song called Beyond.................
but somehow I don't think its the one that you had in mind..........is it???

Not one that springs immediately to mind,(even without the mis-quoted lyrics lol ) but that is a track called 'wots...uh the deal' from the Obscured By Clouds album.
The beers are still on me until I get the northern kids TV show track
