Not for me though (I gave up on my hair years ago).
My son (21) desperately needs a new style. He's let it grow below shoulder length and it looks ok - just. But there is nothing he can do with it. He's tall and looks fab with a very short style but won't consider it.
Does anyone know a website where he can browse a range of styles so he can get an idea of what might suit him before we splash the cash at the barber's/stylist?

Google men's hairstyles - you'll get plenty.
Or check websites of all the men's and street fashion/culture magazines. Should get some ideas from them.
Combine long and short.
best haircut is
no. 1 back and sides blended in short on top, squared at the back and sideburns halfway up the ear....
I have had this hair cut since i was 17....
May I suggest..... the "Bobby Charlton"

Thanks for the ideas.
Fabs - I'm pretty sure the Bobby and Kevin styles would have him running for the hills.
Hmmm, bearing in mind he is due to leave home perhaps I should make the suggestion. biggrin:D:D:D:D:D
okay... back to the drawing board.....
since he likes his long hair... how about the "valderrama"

big-hair-tastic!!!!!!!
Shave it all off ala mitchell style
save a fortune on combs no hair dryer needed

I think he should go to the funkiest , most expensive stylists(NOT BARBERS)in town for a consultation... (on his own) and get some advice...
Try Tony and Guy or similar..
Im not toooo sure that this is the best site to get advice from....
Top stylist is the answer I reckon a good stylist can work wonders.
I have lots of hair thats incredibly fine and grows slowly. The only way to keep it tamed is to have it well styled, something I will get round to now its long enough.
My problem over the last ten years has been the kids getting nits. I simply have to go for the Grant Mitchell when they do because I cannot stand the little critters ( The nits not the kids). As it takes about 2 years for my hair to grow to a decent length I havent had the hairstyle I prefer in all that time.
Dont forget to let us know what he goes for. My only note of caution is to avoid any stingfellowesque styles, the mullett was never a good look. (I was young and a student and I knew no better)
