The 60's hairstyle - esp. the Mary Quant look, is making a dramatic return this year, what does anyone else think? Is the 60's a good look?

Its fantastic isnt it?, I'd say 'go for it' if you have trust in your hairdresser you should be able to ask them to personalise it to how it would suit you best. I love my hairdresser and am quite willing to allow him to try new things (must be my personality-i love to try new things!!!) otherwise i would still be stuck with an 80's style :giggle:

ah... hair....
I recently gave myself a little trim... has been shortish for last few years...
but it was long once...in a galaxy and time far far away!!! Quite thick too... I was rather proud of my mane!
My slightly (only ever-so-slightly ahem) alternastive years saw me plaiting small sections, and threading in sticks, or feathers, beads and bitsnbobs... why? dunno

also coloured it quite a bit.. reds mainly...
..was the Mallen Streak mentioned?... yup... but was just one clump... platinum... sprouting from a short way above and behind the left temple...nice...hehe held colour well too, did that bit...
my main regret was that prior to cutting/shaving it all off... I didn't have it *burnt into dreadlocks for a while... love 'em!

Men eh!!! I've learnt not to take much notice of their conversation, jeez they can talk :giggle:
Tho I do sympathise Dlep, Mr Grif tried for an age to grow his hair only to have it cut days before I said "I could have done something with that!!!"

I have a love affair with my hair.... or I used to because it all disappeared!
My hair is currently long, black and quite 'blunt'.... somebody recently said 'betty page like.'
But I did used to have wacky dreadlock extensions in an array of colours, which I miss! My hair needed a break tho!
My extensions didnt cost much either... £100 tops at a place in Manchester.

I'dlike to have long hair again... spontaneous long hair... a click of the fingers and there it is, type hair!
I'm getting a little old to go through all the stress of the intermediate stages of hair-growing now... and temples are a tad tooo far back to start all over again...lol
