Hello folks,
Are we all well?
Hope you all had a cracking weekend. If you did, some of you will no doubt be sporting some form of pain or discomfort in the head/tummy region.
After many years of suffering such symptoms, I still have not found a surefire way to kill these monsters the next day.
Any suggestions gratefully received and tested in teh very near future
bacon butties and loads of diet coke - hits the spot for me anyway.
lotsa sleep .......cans of fizzy orange.....chocolate digestives ..cornflakes my hangover cure
Plenty of water, before bedtime and after waking, Mcdonalds fries and coke usually sorts me out.
There are various remedies on the market but really ... plenty of water before bedtime and through the day and eat little and often to keep blood sugar stable, should sort most people out quickly enough.
Dehydration ... the worst thing people can suffer from.
Good grief. When I said I was gonna try them all out, I wasn't counting on redstilletto's vile concoction.
At least there is no sign of raw eggs yet!
Div!!!!!!!
Haha, good word. Not many folk use that any more. Right up there with, uhm......Mong.
Crikey.......Not if you're gonna use that big ole stick!!!!
ive been trying for years still havnt found a cure i feel rough as f*ck today i can tell you
I fear Dean may be right but Lucifer has the best cure so far oddly enough!
i find that when i get MEGGA drunk, i normally throw up before i go to sleep.
i am then not as bad in the morning.
when i am hungover i try to spend time outside rather than in bed, and dont really eat anything... but i dont have breakfast anyway.
another drink does work but there always the next day again , and to many bacon butties means a big belly as well
Plenty of water and Nurofen before bedtime seems to do the trick - I'm lucky, never been a major sufferer from hangovers.

Water is a main reason why you have a stinking head. Dehydration and the sudden drop in blood sugars are what makes a hangover what it is.
Eating something full fo carbohydrates before you go to bed (kebbab, burger, cereal if you can stomach milk) this will smooth the sudden drop of sugar as it will be released back into your system when it is needed.
Fatty foods can give you the energy back but they can make you feel worse because these fats being burnt contain keytones. This is a natural toxin your body produces. It can make your head temporarily better but when the keytons kick in you will feel just as bad, if not worse than before.
Sugary foods tend to give you the sugar too quickly so you will end up crashing, that is why carbohydrates are the better option.
Just my two penneth anyway. I usually don't get a hangover until the next day due to the amount I actually drink.
oooo did some one say ....kebab .. ..its almost worth the hangover to munch on one at 3am
I have a right ponsy cure.... drink advocaat +lemonade... a "snowball" for some reason that settles me right down... did try drinking Gin once and that lasted 3 days, I turned yellow as did my drinking partner and we went down with alcohol poisoning! now that hurts like hell!!! forget the hangover!
Lots of water, a panadol or two and a couple of vitamin C tablets (as alcohol destroys vitamin C so I'm told).
When I wake up, lots more water, more panadol, more vitamin C and an enormous breakfast followed by gallons of strong coffee.
Well it works for me.
