I am a very happy man! I love life, I enjoy the simple pleasures, the countryside, pure fresh air, excercise, walking with my girl, holding hands, motoring, the seaside, sitting on the beach in the sunshine, not much money, but have enough for my needs, using my computer, surfing swinging heaven, shopping, watching tv when I am at home, sitting in my garden.
What makes you happy? do you need lots of money for entertainment? expensive clothes? meals out? new car? alcohol? cigarettes? and are you miserable when you can't have them? are you lonely? can you stand your own company? or do you need to be in a crowd all the time? I hate to be alone, but I have to spend long hours on my own!
I love eating out, I love it when the kids go to bed, and the house is tidy and I can fill the place up with candles, I love it when I can dress up and go out. I love compliments, I don`t know how to receive them, but I do love them!

I love it when the sun shines and I can look out at the seashore at the bottom of our garden.
When my two sons who have left home, come for a visit.
When Jon and our youngest son are not arguing over the tv, whose turn it is to put out the dustbin, mow the lawn . . .
When I can enjoy a cup of tea in bed on Sunday mornings, but best of all I love it when my cat sleeps on my pillow and purrs next to my head all night :smile2:
He purrs for hours on end and it's a sound of pure contentment, which lulls me to sleep!

Everyday I awake is my happiness. We seldom appreciate what we have about us. Good days and bad days are the same, the yin/yang of life...all balance so to speak. A day spent away from someone to love you is cruel, a day which you do not express it, be it spoken, a visual appreciation or a though...is surely wasted?
I am happy when mr redbird is happy. if he's sad then I'm sad. eeeeeeeeeew that sound so yuk!
Big wet kiss and hug for you Mrs FC - so glad you are back in herexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Isn't it strange how we all hanker after the simple things of life to bring us pleasure, but take away the things money has bought, and we're as misserable as sin.
I know because I lost everything a little while ago and had to start again from scratch (no sympathy please), but it did prove that simple guestures and kind words can mean so much more than things that money can buy.
The most pleasurable single thing in the world? A lovely partner to share lifes experiences with.
PS. I'm still looking.
