Hi guys
After reading Heather's post about spotting some guy from a party in her village, I was just wondering if anyone has ever bumped into someone they know (from outside of the scene) at a swingers party?
I was imagining what it would be like to bump into say, your kid's teacher, or your bank manager and how funny / embarassing that would be.
Just a thought.
Cheers
Rich
No,
But there is a user ID on this site which is identical to my sisters initials and age.
That was quite scary enough until I checked out the profile. He was not her.

I would be really amused though unless the other person indicated i would never! let it be known that i knew to them lol
I don't know why people get so worked up about meeting people they know locally or who are relatives at clubs and parties because if they are there, then they are doing the same as you and can't say anything to anyone about it anyway. I would only worry if somehow a neighbour got to know and gossiped about it to the other locals or my sister's-in-law got to know cause I know both of them would tell me off soundly for letting the family down. They were both hard enough on hubby and I when we went through our rough patch in our marriage and pressed him terribly to tell them what was going on. Bless him for sticking out and telling them to mind their own business. I'm sure it was a significant factor in enabling us to get back together again after our split. Its not the ones that do swing you have to worry, about but the ones that don't swing, who have all the hang ups and prejudices about it.
And yes, we have met a lover's ex work colleague and after a momentary feeling of shock and embarrassment we were chatting like good'uns about various clubs and experiences together.

Totally agree with you here!
I have met someone i knew the first time we ventured to a club! Let me tell you it was a little bit of a shock to be confonted with the kids health visitor halfway down the stairs  . BUT so what? she's there for the same reason as us, ive seen her since and no one mentioned a thing - so all's fine and i hope she had a great time! lol
moving the goalposts a bit have you ever bumped into someone you know in any unlikely place? about 20 years ago i was with my (then) girlfriend in Tangiers, at this time it was just starting out as a tourist area, when she bumped into someone she knew that she hadnt seen for years also on holiday. this was in a little local market in a remote village.

Too true! I've been contacted by members on 2 separate occasions and it turns out they know me very well which is a bit scary. I don't worry that much as thankfully the majority of members are very discreet and keep it to themselves. Even if vanillas know about them, they haven't mentioned others at all.

Was he the only guy in the village?

I bumped into someone who looked familiar at the kid's swimming lessons, she looked at me and I her. Then I remembered who she was - the Doctor at the GUM clinic who had had her hand up me the month before!

I was on cam in the chatroom here about 6 months ago and was recognised by someone i worked with - EEK ! Unbelivably, it turned out to be a guy i'd fancied rotten for months, so our accidental camming session turned into mutual masterbation in the back room at work lol
