Today has just been one of those days ........................
Whilst taking my son to school this morning, I decided to go to the shop to get a drink. I parked the car, nipped into the shop, got back into the car and noticed that a van had parked right in front of me. Started the car, put the car into reverse and the wheels just skidded, which I thought it was because of the heavy snow. Took a deep breath, put the car into reverse and the wheels just skidded again. I looked at my son and said that we were stuck in the snow. He just sighed at me and said "aren't you supposed to put that down first mum", he was pointed to the hand break................ FFS
banghead
It comes to something when your six year old son tells you how to drive your car!!!!

Lol Alex... this brought back memories...... smile
When I was about 17 my two friends and I used to take it in turns to drive the 15 or so miles into town for a few glasses of lemonade wink
On one occasion my friend called in for petrol on the way... when she returned to the car and started the engine she had a panic attack because a red light was illuminated on the dash....
We all head into the garage and persuade the man to let us use the phone (pre mobile phone days and no payphone mad ) ring afore mentioned friends Dad who in turn calls his mate.. a mechanic..
Half an hour later we are causing chaos.. her car is still blocking up access to one of the pumps... Dad arrives in his car...mechanic arrives in his van.....
And yep you guessed it ..... it was the handbrake light lol

Some friends of mine were driving from London to our house in Somerset, and got a bit lost once off the motorway. Their four-year-old son managed to direct them to our door, with no hesitation, having only visited once before.
It's amazing what kids know when you think they are still babies living in a land of lollipops and laughter. They take it all in, every second, at that age.
The same kid also knew how to use the video, DVD and satellite channels far better than I did, and with hands so tiny I was embarrassed. Me and remote controls? A big no no. confused ....but with his help we managed to get Teletubbies up and running for two very long hours....
You've all given me a chuckle
I was amazed the other week, I don't have children so probably not well informed about a 6 year olds capabilities, but was amazed when he asked to go on the internet and proceeded to direct me to the bob the builder website and build a log cabin and complete online jigsaws using the touch pad!!!!!
Well it impressed me dunno

Rachel, you've brought back memories of my first gf.
she was crying in the lift one day and this little kid looked up at her and asked, "Uncle, why you cring?"
she had the gorgous androgonous look
And is the only girl I ever loved.
