We're very quick to condemn when we're stood up so here's the positive side :
With trepidation I tied my trusty steed to the drainpipe (OK it's a bicycle) outside the pub. Opened the door with misgivings and there he was sitting patiently in the corner with a pint and ready smile.
Let me introduce to you all - Flapjackboy. Charming and thoughtful, I am hoping to encourage him to attend a Munch. I've told him all about you people I met at Manchester. OK well maybe not all. And he's dying to meet you, especially WBB!
Keep an eye out for him. He shows up when he says he will!!!

Nice to know it went so well.
I have to say that I had a few drinks with another forum member this week. I won't name names just in case he doesn't want it known. I would just like to say he was marvellous company and luckily had the same sense of humour as me. He can talk for England - even I had trouble getting a word in edgeways sometimes. :shock:
And I also have to say he was a perfect gentleman!
I just wanted to add this as I felt it was another 'positive'!
