Some good points raised here, the aim of the dating site is to date rather than swing. TBH it should help genuine swingers register here and people looking for dates go over there. This should help some of the concerns over here regarding "not serious swingers" or "why is he on here" etc etc.
The dating site will not link to the swinging site, only the other way round. We have had a few people meet and end up either in long term relationships or get married etc.
Please have a look at the new mail system over there as that is going to form the basics of the new mail system here.

I think it is good business sense and totally with their rights to link from this site to the dating site. However I also agree that it will fill up with swingers from here who don't realise the difference as well as the new free members from here who rather than pay here, can get a full membership there for a year.
I think a good idea would be that instead of the link from here going directly to the front page of the dating site, it should go to an in-between page that says in big bold unmistakable letters 'This is NOT a swinging site but a normal dating site. If you want to swing, keep it to swinging heaven' with a link at the end to proceed to the main dating site. If you make sure that there is no link on the dating page to that disclaimer, then the singles won't know about the affiliation.
