We've just rejoined the site today so having been a reader of the forum for some months, I feel obliged to say "Hello!" to the folk who have kept us unwittingly entertained over that time!
So... Erm... "Hello" and all that...
In our previous incarnation we only ever went into Chat. The Forum was a dark, mysterious place where only the truly insane and mildly dribbling could be found. Since we rejoined as a free member we've since discovered that this hare-brained notion is in fact entirely accurate, and we'd much prefer to be part of the lunatics in the asylum, than watching from the outside with our noses pushed up against the window... :-)
Most of our details are on our hastily arranged profile if you are that interested, but be warned, once you've gone there... There is no going back...
We hope to make a few salient, intelligent and thought provoking posts on a variety of topics now that we are able. This is, however, an entirely false hope and in the end we will probably just be lewd and naughty, with occasional outbreaks of silliness and patches of lunacy over the high ground.
Anyway, that's enough from us. We should point out it is 99% likely that it will be Mr R on here. Mrs R is a shy, retiring creature who gets rather embarrassed and tongue tied by the whole posting / chatting malarkey and tends to let her gobby husband take the lead. I will however encourage her to join in as much as possible, provided you are all nice and don't savage us until we have posted something spectacularly stupid (this doesn't count, we are allowed one inane ramble as a starter, it's in the new AUP that I just invented.)
