That's always my starting point !! . Can someone explain why on my 'save' box there is a red tick . But when i try to open it , it says theres nothing there .
Me being thick probably ............don't say it !!

The red tick thingy is just an icon it doesn't actually change rolleyes

Anyway I am mac engineer, so it would be a blank pm anyway as I know nothing about pc's

And today's 'most vague technical support query' award goes to....
If you open a PM (like the one I've just sent you) there's a 'Save Message' box at the bottom right. Click that and it'll move to the Savebox and not be deleted according to whatever the forum's pruning rules are. Then your Savebox won't be empty smile

The tick is, as sg says, just an icon.
