I don't have a pic on the site (too shy when i have online photos for work!) but re-sizing is usually quite easy, depending on your operating system. In Windows, double click or open the file in the usual way then look for a 'resize' option in whatever program you have set as the default (in windows this is often MS Photo Editor). So you'd click the 'Image' menu then choose 'Resize'.
After you've got the physical dimensions down, it's a good idea to run it through a compressor so the filesize is small and it loads quickly. Some graphics programs already on your computer may will do this for you (look for Jpeg, Optimise) or you can download something called "Jpeg Optimiser" for nowt, which does a quick neat job.
Yep use the site resizer for now, but if you want to play with piccies there's loads of free download picture editing software scattered about the net, Google 'free software' and take your pick.
A good one is 602PcPro it has a MS word compat word proccessor and a good photo editor in the package, and it's free.
Just download Image Resizer from here...
It's all you'll ever need if all you want is quick, easy resizing, rather than betternot-as-lossy stuff that you can do in Photoshop and Irfanview
