Hmmmm the obvious one is Deefer ('D' fer dog!), although for such a tiny wee thing I do like BIG names like Hercules or something a bit international like Perro (spanish for dog)

It is the Irish (Gaelic to most of you peeps) for friend.
It is pronounced "Corra" and so does not sound as girlie as it looks in print.

no no no Big G. i've just had a word with my staff and he thinks dave is just stupid, but then he's called bullseye so hardly in a position to comment on original names for staffies is he? rolleyes

anyways, he reckons any staff worth his salt hankers after the name Brock, which is apparently badger related, and gives the runt something to aspire to? dunno
