First off let me start by saying that this is a fantastic site. Got my first meet from my photo ad for this evening so really thrilled with that.
However(there is always a however have you noticed)
I have put up a few posts now just general hiya. anybody out type of posts and the only reply I have got is from myself. A few points
1) I am a single male for the purposes of the site is this having any bearing on why no one is replying due to increased media etc?
2) If I wanted to I could have lied and said I was a couple to recieve posts back however I did not do this
3) All I am after is some correspondance. A meet would be absolutley fantastic but I know that couples, women or anyone else would probably not want to meet a single bloke which I fully understand. I am not going to bang on all day about "lets meet" or "lets shag". I believe I have slighly (just slightly) more intelligence than that.
4) Please get in touch. I need to be told about the etiquette? of the site etc I pmed bluexxx and got a short reply back although to be fair not a nasty one. I have used aol for encounters in the past but am reluctant to use them again as everyone can see your e-mail adress and you get swamped with spam. However using aol chat and forum pm's are just sort of used all the time and I thought this site would use the same formatt. I stand corrected and shall wait for an invite before pming anyone.
Dont get me wrong the site is brill and I must say i do prefer the way to pm but folks just give me a chance is all. I am genuine(and no I havent got pics nor do I want any unless you want to give them. I wont ask for pics ever)
Anyways really cool site keep up the good work and all that and someone please get back in touch with me soon even if its just to say hi. I am a human and need to feel wanted every now and then even if you dont mean it :cry:

The plight of the single male has been discussed on the forum ad infinitum and the advice generally boils down to the following:
Become a player in the cafe, let people get to know you as you get to know them, and you gain a distinct advantage over those single males who post single-line ads in Let's Meet Up. Remain polite, respectful and humorous.
Meets are increasingly based on trust and prior aquaintance from a personal safety point of view, and of course as a result of the recent adverse publicity.
I hope you find what you are looking for here, but you are more likely to find long term friends than short term shags.

I tried the chat cafe the other day but couldnt get on there. I currently have cookies disabled on my comp is this causing the problem? Not even remotley computer literate so know nothing about how to change this if this is the problem and would very much appreciate some assistance off someone so I can chat in the cafe. However I did read a reply that said there were too many of us single blokes in the cafe at the mo and to be honest I dont want all the a/s/l crap involved with that. I read a post you and Krisxxx were involved in and you said that you also hate this.
Anyways I got my first reply that wasnt off myself and you shall always hold a special place in my heart for that sappho

Just a small observation that may put a lot of people off actual meets. Your first point says:

As Sappho said though, just jump into the forums and you'll feel part of the community in no time.
