help needed re pics

hi there staggy and rose have had a major photo disaster , we have had a hard disk die on us that contained all of our photos that involved sh i know this is asking a lot but if any of you have photos of us at any events munches etc can you please mail them or open a messenger share folder , we are really gutted about this , it s like a big slice of our short time together has been washed away,
any munches we were at, our engagement party pics hotel room pics , even sign post challenge really , this is terrible and we feel empty inside , so if you can help at all we would be so greatful.
now you lot if you havent backed up your photo albums go do it before its too late.

Really sorry to hear that this has happened!
It is possible if you take your computer to a specialist repair shop they may be able to recover your pictures for you. It may cost you but judging by your post I'm guessing it would be worth it!

Maybe there are teckkie people on here who can help recover the photos on the hard disk that has died?? re load them on to a CD thingy?

The images can be recovered, it all depends on how much you want to pay and whether you want the images seen by the people doing the recovery.
Prices start from about Â£100 ish - Google "Hard Disk Recovery" for more info...

another old trick - it has been mentioned on SH too! - is to SEAL the hard drive in a plastic bag & pop it in the freezer for a few hours... this 'might' revive it long enough to retrieve your data.
But make sure another storage device is connected so you can start to transfer data asap!

Good tip Red! I've still got my old hard drive after having to replace it when some mad

sent me a virus. There are loads of things on there I'd love to retrieve redface

It depends on the state of the hard drive..... if it physically meens removing the actual disk's in a dust free environment and reading them with a machine then it can run in to Â£1000's of pounds sad

Sassy-Seren and wild rose and the stag.... even if the drive is virused, Tony can do data recovery as long as your drive has just a little life left in it then its no problem wink
