Hello both and welcome to the site and forum :-)
I'm afraid you can't block a member from viewing your profile (as far as im aware), only from chat and the site message system.
If you want to make your photos private - go to photos under My account on the right hand side of your screen. Click on a photo you want to make private and from the drop down box at the top you can move them into a private album.
If by chance you are having a problem with a member - either use the report button on the bottom of the persons profile or pop a message off to one of the moderators whose names can be found in the Oracle thread, which also included lots of other helpful tips and tricks :-).
If you have any other questions - fire away, someone will answer you :-)
