I am a reformed smoker and we are supposed to be the worst when it comes to sympathy but good luck anyway. I stopped about 12 months ago but i stopped dead and went "Cold turkey" but not everyone can do that, being a stuborn B*****d helps.
Giving up smoking reminds me of a film i saw years ago. Cant remember the name or the actors name but it went something like this. A guy goes to a clinic to give up smoking which he pays for. He is told that the clinic while be watching sometime but he will not know when or where. If he gets caught the first time his wife will be put in a room with elecrofied floors and will be electricuted, second time he gets caught she will be any way you get the idea. Can anyone remember the film and actor?

Blonde, get Steve to go to the docs & ask for the new Champix tablets hun. He can smoke for two weeks while taking the tablets & then stop. He takes the tablets for (I think 3 or 4 months) if needed.
These stop the cravings & if he does smoke afterwards he won't like it at all.

We both stopped for 4 years but a year last Xmas, as you do when you've had
we went to the shop & bought a pack of 10 :cry: so gonna try these tablets again
