HELP!!!! Strange communications from outer space

Does anyone have any idea why some characters are coming out like this? It's happening all over t'interweb.

Not the image of Stephen Fry - the little boxes with numbers and letters in. Looks like a code - not ASCII though. But obviously they should actually be showing some kind of symbol there.

Looks like hex to me. Don't know why you'd be getting them though. dunno

Do you use Mozilla Firefox?
I think there's an issue with the text side of it, but as of yet there's no resolution. sad

Had the same problem for a few months now. confused

Yep- I've used Firefox for years. This only started after the last but one update. Ah well, looks like I'll have to live with it until someone fixes it.

I dont know if this is your problem but worth having a look at this link, I have opened up a new thread just to help others out too that might be having problems
