help with 2 problems

Hi Im a new member to the site when i try to play an advretisers video it loads for it to play but stays blank when i press play and theres no sound , 2 when i search by distance it comes up with the wrong distance ie im in co durham it says im 20 miles away from an advertiser in southend on sea when in fact im 300mls away i checked my settings and my post code is registered right hope someone can help thanks

Just to point out that many of the videos don't actually have sound. Can't help you with the video problem, they work fine with me. Do you have problems with playing videos on other sites? If not, you should be okay here.

I suspect your problem is that you have lost your file type extension i.e. avi or mpeg I don't know what the extension is for this site but admin would be able to tell you.
You could them add it to your player (which one do you use)?
You haven't said which operating system you are using and how old it is?
But if its a modern set-up you could reimport it our load it up again? Just remember that if you have on old version OPS and have done several updates you may loose later data as you would be going back in time, better to try to sort it out with the present set up.
Remember if the video vision will not play then it is unlikely the audio will be heard.
But as mentioned not all videos have a sound track. wink

I think you have a problem with your googleywhatsit!
I could go all techie on you ..... but I dont want to embarrass you by being a blonde far more intelligent than the average person ............ so I wont.
Slap it about a bit and if it still doesnt work .... turn it off and back on again!
