What I really want to know is...........
What exactly do you buy for the inlaws dunno
Every year it is the same:
Chocolates
Smellies
Bottle of whisky?
Has anyone got any original ideas????
Also......what are you buying for your other half??????........is it something they really want or do you go out at the last minute and buy the first thing you set eyes on!!!
(Maybe this is an opportunity to let them know what it is you want) lol
Please help!!!!!!
Helen :dunno:
My in laws are Jehovah's Witnesses so i don't have to worry about it biggrin :D :D
Other half is easy, some new gagdet for the pc...... boys and their toys and all that
Unfortunately my in-laws stopped talking to us 10 years ago and refuse any contact with us so it isnt an issue really.

Have to agree with you there!!!!!...lol
So is there anyone out there that will be buying their inlaws a christmas present!!!!!!!...lol
dunno
Mine are ok actually, FIL is a bit miserable but they are there for us if we did really need help. Just peeves me off that they never ask to have the kids for a few days and rarely ever visit them, with my parents gone, thought they would have made more effort.
Anyway ideas for presents, we usually take them up some hamper type goodies, cheese, wine etc cos they have all the money they need and if they want something they just buy it rolleyes
Depends on how much you want to spend to. One year for my FIL's 60th birthday we bought him a balloon trip.................only problem was, was that he came back
Last Xmas for my hubby, i bought him a trip to New York for St Paddys Day, and of course he needed company so got one for me too! wink
Last year my other half got:
bart simpson slippers( chosen by my son!!!)
and reindeer socks (chosen by my other son)...lol
and...a little something from me that money can't buy!!!!! lol

Lets face it lol who gives a damn what ya buy it's the fact some brainy sod invented Xmas so we could do more of what we truly love and thats shopping.... I can't see why they cant make an extra day a week during december dedicated for us girlies to shop .. and maybe an extra day a week during the january sales... on this extra day it would be compulsory for hubby's to babysit monsters and pets and the sink. toyboys maybe allowed with the girl to carry her huge amounts of goodies to the car.
I lurve xmas..

In-laws....what can I say!
We blew ours out years ago due to Father-in-laws drinking. Now he`s gone, we are left with a disabled Mum-in-law we are very keen to make up lost time with. I asked my parents if I could have Christmas at hers, so she could be surrounded by family, especially since she`s been living alone since May. They said yes.
Now she`s sunk some money into buying new curtains, and some Christmas bits, my parents tell the kids they will go over to open presents, but don`t want to go there for the day because her house smells of pee.............
Season of goodwill and all that
Venusxxx
Parents and Inlaws all deceased
Just me, my two sons and eldest sons girlfriend to buy for lol
