Loads of stuff going on in the North West - check out the Let's Meet Up forum. Look out for Munches or Socials - always a great crowd in the NW.
Have a look at the other forums too - good way to get to know folk. Then there's the chatroom side of things which can be fun.
Basically just look around and enjoy yourself... plenty of good people about.
