i stumbled across this site by chance a couple of weeks ago when doing a google search and since then i've been an occasional visitor to the forums as it seems quite a friendly place
to be. thought it was time to register and say hello (didn't realise you had to pay before you could post i thought it said it was free) anyway i stumped up some of my hard earned and now i'm gonna post away to make sure it's vfm.
hope the occasional glass of whisky is alowed in the cafe :cheers:

hi dracae welcome to sh its a nice friendly place to be but be prepared for loss of sleep & withdrawls when not here smile

as for the whisky well that all depends if its a good single malt or some blended stuff confused

if you are in the chair & got lots of money to spare mine is a large brandy :cheers:

answers to points raised :
if i have a drink to hand i'll nearly always share it.
if i have a bottle it's almost always a large one.
if it's whisky it's usually unbranded mixed with ginger ale.
will i post like a man possessed (is that really how you spell pissed) ?, yes.

hey steph thanks for the welcome i saw some of your posts before i joined, the avatar's a joke to match my username though i'm sure i could pay a fortune to have some trickcyclist to tell me an empty bowl represents whats in my head.............nowt smile
