You could put a bit more on your profile about your likes, dislikes, what you're hoping for, etc, or you could leave it intentionally blank and just keep doing what you're doing in a conversational kind of way in the forums and in chat? I'm led to believe either way works, so do carry on and have fun with whatever works for you.
