I think the ultimate question has to be
If you could avoid the life threatening diseases would you play unprotected?
Guess you have to weigh up up your situation. The other STD's have complications to even if they dont kill you such as infertility and other discomforts. Some are more fussy than others some wont practice oral without some protection where as non protected oral is common in the swinging world.
If there ever create an injection that can prevent ALL STD's then yes we might get a bit more "promiscuous" but as that will never happen then no, we will keep playing safe.
I echo cubes' comment, those in the third world, who really need it, won't find it available to them.
As far as making people more promiscuous goes, I can't imagine it changing anyone's attitude to, or appetite for, sexy fun and games.
I agree with you all,
Being it’s a US based drug company it will be expensive so won’t be dispensed freely on the NHS,
Some parties are actually requesting this drug is not approved,
It’s still not a cure just merely prevention, and might lead some into a false sense of security.
For now will stick with safer sex
