hmmmm interesting to read all your replies. As I said we've been swinging for 3 years and yes the site we're on operates a verification and a feedback system. Nobody ever slates anyone else because the comments made are vetted by the admin/moderator team before they appear on profiles. Although really, all we would want is to know that people are who they say they are. There are so many fake profiles around these days.
Oh well, it'll be down to us to use our experience and good old messenger to determine that on here.

There are without doubt people who regularly play and who are on this Site, but by the same token you only have to read the post history of some of the most prolific posters to see that there are some who are not 'players' but who regard this forum as a good adult chat room and no more. Verifying members will have the effect of 'outing' the prolific posters who offer opinions on every thread that is started but who are not actually Swingers.
If you knpow of the other two Swinging Sites - one internatonal and one more local then you will know that the verification and activity controls that they have in place means that you are far more likely to have success in meetings than on here but by the same token the Sites perhaps do not have the same commercial value that this one has because they keep theirs specific and relevant.
maybe if you viewed this Site simply as an adult site where you may well meet up with someone rather than a dedicated swingers dating site then you will not be disappointed.

And exactly how do you know who is and who isn't actually swinging? Just because they post prolifically, doesn't mean they don't swing. And people don't always want it to be public knowledge, how often they swing or with whom.

What gives anyone the right to 'out' anyone for whatever the reason??? Some people like to be discreet about their activities.

Has it ever occured to you that just because someone doesent want to play that it may simply be because they dont want to at that particular time,or that they dont find a particular person/s attractive, or or that they simply dont want to play with people who may 'out' them

so in the last week there are 5 pages of meets in lets meet up that have been posted..... and 2 pages of meets in the dogging section, so there must be something going on... and then add the ads on top of that...... hmmmmmm,
the bit in red........right, do you have any proof to back that up, because to make that kind of sweeping generalisation, it had better be 100% conclusive........
I am suggesting that while people may spend time on the forum, you could find people who spend as much time in the chatrooms, and because they don't leave a "lasting footprint" like the forums do, you wouldn't even think of making that assertion....
the bit in blue..... if you have read the various debates that have taken place here in the last couple of years about "varification" you would know that it is as much about privacy and discretion as anything else....the fact that people can pick and choose what they show, the fact that people who have been genuine reasons for cancelling, or may not have clicked, may be call timewasters...... there are a million reason,
I am suggesting that a whole lot more goes on behind the site that you or I will ever know about..... but because people don't advertise the fact that they have played with W,X,Y and Z, or are varified by A,B,C,or D, I wouldn't care to make assumptions about anyone......

I have saw the so called great verification system be abused on other sites and it is very easy to do.
Most of these sites are free to join so I will give you an example of how it is done.
First of all along comes Jimmy Bloggswiebigdick or whatever his name is, then he says to himself "Oh I could have so much fun here winding these sad swingers up"
So off he trots to his pc and opens about 10 different accounts in all sort of varying permutations.
Then he sets about verifying him self using these accounts over a few weeks until he has the swingers champing at the bit dying to meet him.
Then they take the bait and because no bad feedback is allowed they can't tell everyone what he has done or who he really is.
And after he gets fed up with those 10 accounts he opens another 10 and so on.
Have saw it happen on many occasions so there you go.
Yep you definitely have my vote for a verification process dohhhhhhh!!!!!!!! rolleyes

Thanks for that perfect justification for not having a verification system. I've always thought that the maturety of this site in allowing people to make their own judgements is its strength not its weakness.
There is another factor in that I'm not interested in proving to people who are 'grazing' whether I'm genuine or not. I will swing with people whom I get to know and trust and then I do not expect them to share the vital statistics of the experience with anyone else.
So I really don't want a verification system.
It means I need to get to know people on here before I swing - that is, quite frankly, a long and pleasant process.
